George Floyd - Watercolor Painting

Following the incident with George Floyd in 2020 and the #BlackLivesMatter movement, I decided to do a tribute painting representing the cause.

Using a reference of a garden I found online with a sculpture the middle, I placed the face of George Floyd fallen down, representing his passing, and surrounded him by blooming plants, representing the uproar and eventually the positive impact he had on societies all around the world via the #BLM movement. His story meant something to the world and will continue to leave its mark on generations to come.
