I drew this portrait right after hearing the devastating news. I used a reference photo of Kobe kissing Gigi after a game, as it showed the sweet bond between father and daughter that lives on even after they both parted this world together in the helicopter crash. I drew their portrait in a circle representing a basket ball, the game they both loved and the game he was known for, the game that he left a mark on forever.
